Accepting the challenge to help Norwich's Homeless

During the course of a year St Martins Housing Trust touches the lives of over 600 people who have experienced homelessness and the traumas associated with it. The Trust has a 35 year history of serving the needs of homeless people in Norwich.

We offer:

  • Direct help to people sleeping rough on the city’s streets
  • Emergency accommodation (at our “direct access” hostel)
  • Residential care (at our two registered care homes)
  • First steps back to independent living (in our temporary accommodation and group homes projects)

Why Donate?

St Martins Housing Trust needs regular stable income. Charitable donations enable us to provide the essential requirements of every-day living for those people we seek to serve. For example:
  • £25 provides a starter pack of basic toiletries and bed linen for people coming into our hostel.
  • £75 provides a new bed for someone moving into one of our Group Homes.
  • £125 provides a week’s running of our “donations van”.
  • £1,000 can help us set up job placements and job trails, enabling homeless people to gain up to date skills and advice.

If you donate via our >>secure on line donation service  you will be helping us:

• Provide the security and hope that is often missing from the lives of homeless people.
• Pursue our mission of enabling everyone to achieve as great a level of independence in the community as they are able.

A regular donation means that we can plan with certainty for the years ahead. You can help us provide hope, comfort and guidance to those who have been let down so often in their lives.
